Chrys is spending this afternoon lurking on top of the bookshelves with her head at an odd angle, probably trying to show me how her funnel is causing her great physical and psychological anguish. Iapos;m not fooled.

I put a plate of medicated food up there (the top of the shelves is her territory) and while trying to maneuver the funnel around the plate and get to all of it, she got angry at the food and started growling at it. The food. Even as she was eating it - incidentally, a cat growling while eating actually does sound like "NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM", only in a threatening way.

Mainly Bastet seems to be the source of most of her anger, either because she doesnapos;t have to wear a funnel, or because anytime a vet visit is involved for either of them, Chrys decides she hates the hell out of her sister for a few days. Which of course gets Bastet all riled up too, and it creates this feedback loop of growling and humming contests. So while itapos;s to be expected, it doesnapos;t make it any less exhausting to come home from work and walk into the crossfire of baleful cat glares.

Seriously. At some point she has to lose a will save and just let it go.

Tonight I get to help be security at a local Witchesapos; Ball, where I get to make sure that humans play nice. Should be easy by comparison.
